What Mistakes To Avoid When Making Squeeze Pages

By Susan Taylor

Squeeze pages are great tools for increasing e-mail lists, however there are a few things you should take care of to increase conversions.

Do Not Use Pictures That Are Copyrighted

This does not have any effect on conversion directly, but if found guilty, it could simply snatch thousands of greenbacks from you. Many people do not understand this but there are a lot of evidences where many web designers were punished heavily for using copyright protected photos. If you don't want to give out money for each graphics on your page, you can build your internet site using a squeeze page template, which is very well designed and includes all of the graphics you need.

Don't Use Words That Doesn't Support Your Ambitions

Using words that degrade the value of the incentive in front of the prospects,eg words like cheap, showcasing the value of the product as $100, can heavily lessen the conversions because prospects are not some money machines or robots and they do understand the truth.

Don't Forget To Test The Site In Several Ways

Not testing the squeeze pages is a vital problem in case of more than 8 pages out of 10, which are on the web. Testing involves testing the effectiveness and the pages for bugs. It's been discovered that some colors, some formatting puts off the prospects not because of the content but just due to the change in their moods. And it's an undeniable fact that pages that look well formatted in some browsers may not work fine with other browsers and this may pose a big threat in conversions.

You can avoid many problems using a squeeze page template. They can be used with no extra learning process and are well tested in all of the aspects. Although testing should be a continuous activity to always have a feedback how your readers are reacting so you can change your page if it is needed.
